Thanksgiving, Maia's Birthday, Alex's Baptism and the boycott of Tropic Thunder Weekend!!

Wow...a busy weekend it was!  Lauren, Milo and I drove down to Lansing Wednesday afternoon and luckily beat the traffic getting out of Chicago.  Milo did great and we only stopped once to feed Milo and pick up some delicious chicken McNuggets (for an unidentified person).  Mmmm butane...

Lynne, Tyler and the grandparents were there to see us and Turney had the turkey brining, waiting for the next day's festivities.  The turkey was bbq'd perfectly (as usual) with citrus fruit slices melting under the skin...even the head chef said it was one of his best!  The stuffing, of course, was awesome as well as the rest of the sides.  We were going to settle in for a night of Tropic Thunder but some of us got really sleepy.

Rebecca, Will and the kids were visiting with Will's family until friday, so Milo had lots of people to play with when they came!  He even got some play time with Alex!  Alex, who was 2 months old, is a cute little guy and I'm sure will have many more play dates with Milo.  The baptism for Alex was friday as well as Maia's 3rd birthday party so therethere was a big party that afternoon.   There was so much excitement we forgot about Tropic Thunder??

On Saturday, we got our things together to head back home.  It was a busy weekend, but even more fun to be with everyone.  Can someone remind me to put Tropic Thunder on Netflix?
