Fall fun!

We are recovering from a very busy weekend! I ran the Chicago Half Marathon yesterday. Danny and the kids came down for the finish. It was great having them there, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. I am sore today, but no injuries or back issues! I was really happy to be able to return to running after some time off to recover from my injury last year. After the race, we had to rush back up toward home to go to Milo's first soccer practice/game. He is on "the purple team" with about 6 other 4 and 5 year olds. They spend about 30 minutes practicing and then 30 minutes playing 3-on-3 and 4-on-4 games (with no goalies and no score). He had a lot of fun and was very proud to put on his uniform.  Anabelle was a super fan during these sporting events.  I can tell she is anxious to get on the field or in the race one day soon . . . Danny, after 10 years (seriously), finally bought a new pair of running shoes and has been doing some running, as well as playing some tennis with a classmate from Northwestern.  I will be sure to take some photos of him next weekend so he doesn't feel left out!  All in all, a great weekend!  Looking forward to our favorite season in Chicago - FALL!
