Milo's 4th Birthday

We celebrated Milo's 4th birthday today with Grandma & Granddaddy Gratz along with some of our close friends.  The party theme was "Cars".  We had  everyone over to our place around lunchtime and served sub sandwiches and "Mater" sandwiches for the kids.  You will see photos of Danny's masterpiece - the Lightning McQueen cake!  He worked all morning on it and, yes, even the car is made of cake that Danny molded and covered with fondant icing.  I felt guilty cutting into it :)  Milo had a great time playing with his friends and was excited to open his presents.  He received some new books, legos, a marble run, a puzzle, pattern blocks, and some new "Cars" pajamas.  Needless to say, he fell asleep quickly this evening!  I think we will, too . . .  It was a great day and a lovely celebration!
