We've had a lot of fun getting ready for the holidays with the kids. We finally bought a tree this year, and the kids helped to decorate. Anabelle has left it alone, for the most part, although I still on occasion see the tree shaking from across the room or find an ornament in an odd spot in the condo. Milo's job is to plug in the Christmas lights each day as well as to change the number on the Advent calendar, and he takes great pride in these responsibilities. We attended a pancake breakfast a couple of weekends ago at St. Margaret Mary School, which is where Milo will be attending PreK in January. Anabelle wanted nothing to do with Santa, but was very interested in the pancakes and sausage. Milo was very excited about meeting Santa and about eating candy canes. All in all, we are in the holiday spirit here!
