Milo turned 1 on May 3. Grandma and Granddaddy Gratz, Lynne, and Tyler came to Chicago for the celebration. We spent the weekend hanging out in the condo and taking lots of walks at the park and the beach. Milo received many nice gifts from his family and friends - his favorites were definitely his drum and his guitar. We bought Milo a monkey cake which he enjoyed smashing into with his hands. He didn't eat too much of it though. On his actual birthday, we visited the Lincoln Park Zoo with our friends Jessie, Adam, and Macyn. Milo enjoyed a carousel ride with his daddy. Happy birthday, Milo!
