Milo's Baptism

Milo had his baptism on July 26th at St. Ignatius in Chicago.  The church was very close to our place and some of us walked to the church, while others drove in the air conditioned car!

As we were getting ready I came out with my shirt and pants only to find out Tyler had the exact same shirt on!  I quickly changed shirts and we were almost ready to leave for the church.   I quickly put Milo in the car seat and as I stood up I realized Milo had spit up all over my pants!!  I changed again in a brand new outfit and off we went to the church!  Aside from that, the baptism went pretty well!

After the ceremony, we came back to our place and had a big feast.  Grandma and Grampa Leitao cooked up their famous chicken wings, Grandma and Grandpa Gratz made a potato salad and Lynne and Tyler made up the guac.   Lauren prepared a white sangria and other sides....I helped out the chefs by sampling the food off the grill!

After we ate, we walked over to the beach where some of us practiced our golf swings and bunker shots, some went into the water, and some went for a stroll around the park.  Toward the end of the day we got together for a game of bocce ball.  Everyone had a good time.
