Crazy Storm

Thursday night there was a crazy storm that passed over Roger's Park/evanston.  It started over the west side and proceeded towards the lake.  It was so amazing I took some pictures of it since I had never seen anything quite like it.

The storm clouds were so pronounced that it literally formed a straight line in the sky from blue skies to the rain clouds.  Almost like an alien ship, it slowly took over the sky and darkness quickly loomed over us.   After the intense rain, the clouds broke and a huge rainbow appeared over the lake.  The sky shortly after turned bight red and orange as the sun set past the horizon.
